Once again its Friday so that means there’s some new movies hitting the box office. But the film I want to see most is the new George Clooney pic, Michael Clayton. Last weekend, Michael Clayton was in 15 theatres, and grossed about $855 thousand- which equals about $57,000 per screen- which is huge. So this weekend it will open up to 2,400 screens, so we shall see how it does. Also in theatres this weekend is We Own the Night with Marky Mark and Joaquin Phoenix. I heard a critic call this film a “poor mans Departed“, which I thought was funny because Mark Wahlberg is in both films. So does that mean Joaquin Phoenix is the poor mans Leonardo Dicaprio? haha So if anyone sees either of these movies please drop me a comment with what you thought.
Also, all week I have been producing an Asics photo campaign, which is partially why the posts have been a little sparse and late at night. The shoot went well (I think) and it seemed like both the client and the photographer was happy. Shooting shoes and sports wear cant be easy for photographers- even as simple as it sounds. But making a sports shoe look cool ain’t an easy task (unless your Michael Jordan). However, Tyler Shields shot a cleat in a really creative way, so check it out below.
