Hey everyone! My good friend Sergio Bautista directed a really cool short film called “Humble Pie”. It’s super entertaining, and if you have the time, please vote for “Humble Pie” at http://www.melrosemaccontest.com/vote
It is a teaser for the up and coming documentary and soon to be developed episodic television series revolving around 3 Photo assistants who are trying to take their career to the next level. Watch as they balance their mix of daily routines on set, on location, and in the studio, and trying to manage their lives.
You can click on the “Humble Pie” text to view the 45 sec. Teaser.
It is a project that was selected as a Top 10 Finalist out of over 300 entries for the contest. It is quick and easy and I would really appreciate it. The deadline to Vote is April 9th. Thank you and take care. Feel free to spread the word

In theaters today is 3 new films trying to battle WatchMen for the number one spot. The first film, Race to witch Mountain starring The Rock, looks like it might have the best chance. This Disney film will appeal to numerous audiences, especially kids. Next is horror film remake The Last House on the Left, which star’s Aaron Paul, Sara Paxton, Monica Potter and GarretDillahunt amongst others. This film was originally made by Wes Craven in the 70’s, and is a cult classic. The other new film is Miss March, a raunchy college movie about some guy and his former girlfriend who is a playboy playmate. So there’s your choices!

Remember back in the 80’s when the Chicago Bears were the Superbowl champs? The whole Chicago Bears football team did a song and dance called the Superbowl Shuffle (2nd video below), which has lived on in infamy as possibly the worst song/dance combo ever made- that is, until these enthusiastic and clever folks at this Supermarket decided to do their own commercial. Check it out I know you will love it. And then decide which version you think is better- the original or the spinoff?
Just a few days back celeb-gossip blogger posted an image of Matt Dallas by photographer friend of mine Tyler Shields. I think the photo is pretty cool and gritty, and its pretty cool PerezHilton thought the same (as opposed to him usually ripping on everyone else). So check it out below, and drop a comment with your thoughts.
Well if you do, I found a website that will sell you one! That’s right, a pic of Justin Timberlake himself. and they have options for other cool celebs as well, like the actors from Twilight and hottie Hayden Pannettiere from Hero’s. Check out this link and let me know how your experience goes.
It’s Friday! So that means there’s some new flicks in theaters… Which ones you ask? well here’s the rundown; If you a fan of video games turned into movies, then Streetfighter: The Legend of Chun Li is for you! The film stars Kristin Kruek as Chun Li, on her quest for justice. I think if Kristin looks as hot int he movie as the video game character does, then this movie might be worth checking out. Also in theaters (for you teeny boppers) is the Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience. The title pretty much says it all, and if you need more explanation then you probably won’t want to see this one. And if the Jonas Bros in real life weren’t enough, now you can see them in 3D. Sweet. No sarcasm there I swear
That’s about it for the new stuff… If you see either of these films drop me a comment with your review!
Just recently photo duo Smallz & Raskind launched their new, cooler, flashier website. And after checking it out, checking for bugs, and being extremely critical- i think it kicks ass. Its easy to navigate, shows thumbnails to review images, and even gives the option to show the pics in full screen! Nice! but don’t take my word for it, check it out yourself and let me know your thoughts. Here’s the link–> www.smallzandraskind.com

Yup, I said it. Bush is officially out of office, and America can once again be proud of our leader. (sorry SNL its going to be a tough 4 years of jokes) Whether you are a republican or democrat, you must admit the past 8 years in American history have been less than successful on numerous fronts. And although some of you in the higher tax bracket aren’t happy about paying more taxes now tat Obama is President, this is whats necessary for our country to get back on track. I hope everyone out there gets the chance to see Obama’s inaugural speech and the positive impact his words have on people.
